Nat Strict and cant get teredo ip

So i've tried every single troubleshooting guide on here watched every video i have forwarded all ports, upnp on. im using a netgear wgr614v10 connected to a modem/landline phone, through comcast. i have turned off the firewall changed settings on xbox one
to energy savings, if anyone else has any other options to add please let me know ive been at this for a week now. Detailed Nat- your network is behind a firewall (or not connected)

i cant play online

i have ipv4 and my nat type is strict when i do the multiplayer connection test it says cant get a teredo ip address please anyone help me solve this problem

If by "modem/landline phone through comcast," you mean that you have a modem+VOIP telephone device from Comcast, then your "modem" is likely actually a gateway (modem+router). If so, your Xbox One is behind two routers (including your Netgear), which results
in a very problematic "double NAT" situation (search my posts for that). Please post the make and model of your "modem" for confirmation and additional advice.

i actually fixed it by reformatting my xbox before i read your reply but thank you for the response. i looked it up and it was just a modem so im guessing i had a glitch with my xbox.

I ve done that. So now when i go to settings in windows to xbox network my Nat type is Strict - Teredo cannot qualify after the check, the Teredo is Enabled and Im connected .. When I run Forza i still cant reach the servers and the Nat type is again
strict.

Thanks for your feedback and the additional information.

Are you getting an error like "cannot get Teredo ip" sometimes in the multiplayer test? Would you mind asking your provider if you are on a native IPv6 connection and if they maybe block the teredo tunneling protocol?

Because if you setup the one being in the DMZ and still get a strict NAT it maybe a problem with the teredo protocol.

As the 360 is not using the teredo tunneling protocol you do not experience any problems there and get an open NAT on it. Might be another indicator that this could be the problem.
