NAT Status keeps changing - even though my settings have not?

I have been having issues with my NAT status changing from "open" to "strict" (never moderate) even though I have not changed any settings in my xbox or my router. I have set up port forwarding, and even used the "DMZ" setting on my router but nothing seems
to work. As of today, its reverted to "Strict" and I cannot get it back to "open" no matter what I try.....

I have read TONS of posts from other xbox one owners that seem to be having the same issues.......

I have a belkin router model F9K1105v1.....

Is there any new info on this that might help me?

thanks for the advice guys. My nat status is open though (well COD says it is when i find a game). surely if it was the router needing a static IP address nothing would work online?

Make sure you assign a static IP to the Xbox One before dmz or portforwarding

I did assign a static IP - sorry, I should have included that in my original post - what's really strange is that I had it "open" for several days, and now its reverted back to "strict" and I can't seem to re-open it.... @!#$$@##$%%^%$^%$^

Additional info: So after continuously getting kicked off today. I factory reset my router and had to re-apply all my nat settings. after this completely open test, i could no longer connect to the internet at all none the less XBL. So I reset the router
again. No change in connection. Re-added my NAT settings again. I then restored my connection setting on the xbox, set up wireless as new. It connects with strict nat type. My nat settings disappeared again. i enabled upnp but havent re applied my nat settings
yet. However I am on, but with limited access even though the network test does not come up with any nat restrictions or other errors. Can watch netflix, but cant connect to the MW3 servers and their status shows up and working properly. I am beginning to
think that I hate verizon.

a small update from my side. The manual port forwarding led to an open NAT, too. Testing the multiplayer connection in the X1's network settings, resulted in the following NAT-status: (...) not behind a Cone NAT. Sounds good, the NAT status is open. But
nevertheless, nobody hears me within games. Is there anything in the X1's settings I forgot to change? Every setting regarding social networking is "opened"...

I've noticed that the game doesn't update which games are joinable in the game menu. Obviously this game is online when I try to join it because I check with my friends but could this somehow have something to do with it. Also I tried changing my NAT (I
still don't think that's the problem though because I can join when it's first online) and it won't change from moderate even though I have it set to open in my router settings.
