    Hey all,

    I just recently purchased the Gears of War 4 and can't play online co-op with my friend. After some research my NAT is set to strict. I tried to make a static ip address, forward ports and execute but it didn't work. I turned off my DMZ, didn't work. My UPNP
    is enabled, but doesn't work. Everything i have tried doesn't work. I have the same ISP as my friend, but he isn't experiencing any issues. Any suggestions would be great.

    Cannot open NAT on ATT Elevate 4G mobile hotspot

    So my NAT always says strict. I've followed every set of directions on the internet for opening ports and choosing options and none of them work. Sometimes the options they tell you to use just don't exist when I login to the ATT.elevate page and look at
    my settings. Does anyone have an Elevate device and know exactly how to get it to work?

    I don't really have too many problems with a strict NAT, except I cannot join games or parties of other people with strict NATs (my brother also has an Elevate 4G device). I'm already in a two year contract for this device so it's not really an option to
    switch to something else.

    Is there a way to get this working?

    My current settings look like:

    Port 53 TCP and UDP both set to port forwarding

    80, 3074 1863 also set the same way.

    No matter what I do my NAT won't come off strict.

    So I just moved back in from college and set up my xbox one, and my NAT won't be anything but strict. I tried port forwarding, when that didn't work i tried the DMZ hosting, then i tried changing my power saving options, then i tried doing the "check multiplayer
    connection trick," and nothing seems to help my NAT at all. I even reset my router completely and re entered the ports but nothing happened. I need some help for sure cause this strict NAT is killing me...

    NAT set to strict and options tried so far don't work

    Contact your ISP and ask if they can upgrade your net connection to IPV6

    I had a Strict connection with only Destiny and hard wiring fixed it otherwise contact your internet provider

    Hey there, Math1337 EX. I want to make sure that I understand what you've tried. Can you take a look at this support article titled "Error: Your NAT type is set to strict
    (or moderate)    " and tell me exactly what steps you've attempted so far? Let me know if this helps!

    Xbox 1 and router settings

    the settings help, but still don't work 100% of the time, i started off using UPNP, because it was the easiest option, that didn't work so i went on to using port forwarding, that didn't work so i put my X1 in a DMZ and still intermittently went to strict
    NAT, but doing to triggers+ bumpers reset does the trick now.

    Yes. My NAT goes back to strict when I have a static IP and entering the static IP into the DMZ doesn't help. I even disabled UPnP while having that setup and tried again and it still says I'm strict. So far, going back to automatic is the only thing that
    set the NAT to open but now players I could connect to before (even ones with open NAT) I can't connect to. So far it's just two players but there's more I'm sure.
