    Nat problems


    since the last insider update Xbox says nat open, COD ww2 says moderate nat , multiplayer test says strict, nat test says no nat type ? Seems to come & go any ideas

    To all the guys having problems with NAT settings, this is the guide i used really easy to follow and will change your NAT to open.

    Dedicated servers? Then why the lag and connection advantages?

    Things like crappy hardware and strict NAT types are a person's own problem. Server can't fix a shit connection.

    Nat problems

    In your network settings, click on advanced settings. Then alternate mac address. Select clear and restart. Once your console reboots check to see if there is any improvement on your NAT. If not I would try port forwarding. Call your internet provider and
    ask them to open these ports:

    • Port 88 (UDP)
    • Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 80 (TCP)
    • Port 500 (UDP)
    • Port 3544 (UDP)
    • Port 4500 (UDP)

    Nat problem

    If the steps in the video do not work then you might need to try doing port forwarding. Just call your internet provider and tell them to open these ports:

    • Port 88 (UDP)
    • Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 80 (TCP)
    • Port 500 (UDP)
    • Port 3544 (UDP)
    • Port 4500 (UDP)
    If that doesn't fix the problem then give Xbox support a call

    All right I can try that. I am also trying out a wireless extender too because I'm not getting exactly full bar usually around 3 bars but I was wondering if a wireless extender is bad to use for xbox live?

    Contact your ISP and find out what you are paying for. If it's about that, then you will need to upgrade. If it's significantly more than what you see there, then they will need to roll a truck out to get you the speeds you are paying for.
