NAT problems and COD AW

I keep checking my NAT settings in the settings menu and it says moderate. If I use the second test It then says it is a cone NAT and my NAT changes to open. Once I go into Call of Duty multiplayer the NAT type says moderate even with it being open on the
console. I also am having problems connecting to some friends parties and games. I've made sure port forwarding is on and all ports are good and open.

Xbox setting says NAT typepen while COD AW says Nat type:strict ??

As the title, my xbox one says the nat type is open while in cod: aw says nat type is strict. Anything wrong about that?

I am having the exactly same issue with someone I have been friends with on xbox live for 5 or 6 years. No other changes except xbox. STEP UP MICROSOFT

 

You're NAT on Xbox is indeed open, it's just something with the Call of duty servers. Alternatively you can try to put your console in DMZ instead of port forwarding

 

Call of duty uses different UDP ports than xbox live.

That is why the xbox one dashboard says open and call of duty says moderate.

Users of the BT homehubs might see this as the homehubs 4 and 5 are not compatible with the type of UPnP used by activision games.

If you have a homehub or some other router that is not compatible with the demonware port mapping that COD and destiny uses then you need to manually forward the required ports.

You need to forward UDP port 3076 to get an open NAT in Call of Duty.
