NAT problem with Data mobile hotspot!

Hello iam using my xbox one s but currently not enjoying all online or multiplayer features because of my nat type keep saying moderate! But i think the problem is cos i only use my mobile data 4G hotspot to connect my xbox on internet! I would love to
fix this problem soon! Thank you guys!

The mobile hotspot IS your problem, they are highly unreliable. A hard wired connection from a router with a minimum of 3mb up and download speed is recommended. My NAT is always strict, but is acceptable, and has never caused me any problems. A high speed
wired internet connection will resolve your problems, until then your mobile hotspot will continue to be problematic. hope this helps.

cheers for the reply, i actually use my mobile hotspot. i know its not the greatest idea but its faster than any broadband i can get plus its completely unlimited data. As for the strict NAT. its just strange that it hasn't caused me any problems in the
year that iv been using it and then all of a sudden all of these problems pop up

Mobile hotspots are difficult to fix because there aren't many configuration options available since it comes from your mobile device. The moderate NAT type may be due to some difficulties with your service provider and the hotspot can't keep a secure connection
for multiplayer gaming. It's not impossible to game with that NAT type but it will be difficult to play with other's.

I would suggest looking over this
NAT type solution but be aware it's mainly router troubleshooting and may not apply to your hotspot.

It may be best to contact your provider to see what tests they can do on your service.
