    Nat keeps changing on xbox one


    So I'm having the famous nat issue where the nat changes from open to moderate. Just tonight it started at moderate went to open and back to moderate. I have even seen it on strict. My modem is an **** 822 standalone and a dlink ac 1750 router. I have
    done the whole upnp thing and so on. Now just tonight I plugged the modem into the Xbox directly and still had a moderate nat. The ip is a public ip address given to me by my isp Cablevision. I know it's not the isp because I work for the isp as one of
    the techs. Please give me whatever you may have. Thanks

    Nat Type

    I have my xbox live IP address in my DMZ which is opening my nat but at times when I turn on my xbox it changes to moderate? when i restart my xbox it goes back to open. I tried using UPnP but some reason it's not opening my nat? Can anyone help me this?
    I don't know why my NAT type keeps changing.

    NAT type keeps changing from open to moderate

    my NAT type keeps changing from nat type to moderate however when I go to test NAT type it either says open, moderate or a message saying it's unavailable. I want it to stay on open and I've done port forwarding and I'm still having problems.

    Here is the fix that worked for me.

    I cleared the alternate MAC, and switched to energy saving mode.

    Open NAT ever since.

    This was not a problem with my network or ISP, so if you are experiencing NAT issues try that first.

    Hope this helps someone else.

    Have them know that you connect an additional NAT device (Asus router) to your TG862 and that is the reason, so your internal connection don't get NAT'd twice.

    I am also having the same problem. I struggle to find games on Fifa, and when I do it's extremely laggy, same with Battlefield 4. I am assuming this has something to do with the Nat type. Is there a patch update or something that's maybe going to address
    these issues? Or is there something that I can do to sort it out?
