NAT Issues- Xbox One with Destiny, Xbox 360

Hello,

Recently, my Xbox One console started having some NAT issues. After setting up a static IP and port forwarding on my Technicolor TC8305C Router, the Xbox One now displays the network as having an open NAT. However, while playing Destiny on the Xbox One,
I get the message from the game that the NAT is strict, but checking the settings of the Xbox One labels the NAT as open.

In addition, my Xbox 360 is now showing my NAT as moderate. I have a static IP on the Xbox 360 also, but cannot port forward as the ports are being used by the Xbox One.

As of yet, I do not recall experiencing any real difficulties that would be related to NAT issues. I am wondering, though, if there is anything I can do to solve any of these issues. Also, I am wondering if the port forwarding and static IP addresses are
even necessary, as the router is showing that it has UPnP enabled. I believe that changing the Xbox One to static IP and port forwarding resolved the original issue of the entire console being a strict NAT, but now just Destiny is coming up as strict.

Xbox One NAT moderate Xbox 360 Open?

I've been having issues with the NAT on my xbox one but when I get on my xbox 360 the NAT type is open? I tried about everything to get my NAT type open on xbox. Any help?

Destiny uses different network ports than xbox live.

Try forwarding port 1200 to the xbox one

I was stuck behind a restricted NAT (Only when I loaded Destiny for some reason?) and this fixed my issue.

Hello Bimnog. I just want to let you know that my network issue is fixed! I think Microsoft released an Xbox One update late last night or early this morning. The Xbox stated that I had an open NAT. I popped in Destiny and didn't get a network error!
I was able to play Destiny fine. I popped in Call Of Duty AW. The NAT was opened in it and I was able to join and play games quicker. While I had this issue, I hypothesized that this was a software/MS server issue on the Xbox One because why would the Xbox
One state that the NAT was opened in the network settings and in Destiny and Call Of Duty showed a strict NAT or you have a network issue?

I want to take the time to thank you for your guidance and patience while I had this issue! It makes me wonder if the Internet should be a requirement for everyone! Without the Internet, we wouldn't be able to download and install these updates or even
operate our Xbox One.

Destiny doesn't use the standard Xbox live ports so even if the Xbox Nat is open destiny might not.

Try forwarding port 1200 to the Xbox one and see if that helps.
