NAT issues Strict 90% of time Moderate 10%

Ohio, United States Ubiquiti GP-B240-100 Linksys EA3500 Wireless I have set a static Ip address, turned DMZ and UPnP on. And I even set the X1 as a priority device on he router. I'm not sure if its an error, but it says I have a port preserving port symmetric
NAT that is usually Strict, but just became Moderate. I have a status code of 0x04000200005D, which apparently isn't common BC there isn't a single search result for it. My ISP is a local company, Metalink now that that's out of the way, I've read up on other
posts and I either dont know what I'm doing or something is not working. Also, a side curiosity. It took over six hours to install Bttlfld4, ACIV, and their updates. I was using the discs. They took forever to get past the extreme high and low percents. Internet
issue or disc drive?

NAT type problems

I have issues where my NAT randomly bounces around. Most of the time, it's open, but it'll randomly go to moderate or strict.

 

Moderate NAT

I just checked the network stats and it says my network is behind a UPnP port-restricted NAT... And the status code is 0x40002000060 now

 

When you do a network check on the xb1 what is your download speed?



My guess is you 6 hour install is due to a slow connection.



Game updates for x1 can be huge and can take hours or even over a day if you have a slow connection.



I also get NAT issues with a different router and i can get round it by doing the multiplayer connection test then pressing both triggers and bumpers at the same time to bring up detailed stats then pressing A. This often open the NAT for me but sometimes
have to do it twice.

 

My ISP can only serve up to 3Mbps, but I checked and its usually around 1.5 up to 2.6.

Alright, I figured it was just that, but some forum posts I found were saying its optical drive issues.

I tried your suggestion, and it doesn't seem to be doing anything save for a few rare occasions.

Can I get some Xbox Support already? Its been 3 days guys...

Thank you Malacath, your suggestion is helpful and has worked a few times, but I'm hoping to find something with an actual explanation and resolution.

As for bgeraghty, please try to be more supportive in your support instead of demeaning because no, my problem is not solved. I have attempted your fix twice, restarting the console both times. It is not a fix. Try again and maybe give some context.

As best I can tell from Google, your "modem" is not really a modem but some sort of Ubiquiti AirMax wireless broadband device (GP-B240-100 appears to be the model number of its power supply, not the device itself) that you are using with Metalink, which
is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP). This means you are ultimately connected to a wireless AP and are behind a NAT router over which you have no control (your WISP's). There is probably nothing you can to get Open NAT, other than get a new broadband
ISP (cable or DSL). Adding your own Linksys router to the mix just complicates matters by creating a double NAT situation.
