NAT Issues HELP

My point is he knows how to turn off/on UPnP , portforwarding/DMZ he has already done it if you read above, he needs to reconfigure the modem that is the cause of the problem, then just use UPnP on its own

After doing that just use UPnP on its own on the netgear, no dmz, no portforwarding

The Netgear WPN824v2 is a router. It still needs a Cable/DSL modem to connect to the Internet.

Did you by any chance switch from Wifi to Ethernet connection for your device? Sometimes you have to re-set the settings also check if your device wasnt assigned a new IP Address and if it was you may have to assign the custom settings to that new IP.

So UPnP being turned on didn't fix it. I did find out however that now my detailed NAT information says that I'm behind a "UPnP port restricted NAT" Not sure what that means for moderate I've only ever seen behind a "port-restricted port NAT" I think I read
somewhere that my gateway Westell 7500 can't be bridged so it's still up and running as well could that be a factor I wonder? Even though I connect through WiFi to my new router now instead of my AP?
