NAT Issues behind a Linksys EA6900

Hello everyone,

I've been having some issues with my home network and using two Xbox 360 consoles online at the same time. The primary issue is that one of the consoles will almost always have an open NAT while the other is stuck behind a moderate/strict NAT, and has issues
not only connecting to Xbox Live, but experiencing frequent disconnects from XBL.

I'm using a Linksys EA6900 Router. The router is connected to a Motorola Surfboard SB6141 modem we purchased here and our internet provider is Comcast. The router has been configured to assign static IP addresses to the Xbox consoles inside. UPnP is enabled
on the router and the wireless settings are as follows:

2.4 GHz network

Network Mode: Mixed G/N

WPA2

Width: Auto

Channel: Auto

MTU: 1500 (Tried Auto Too)

I have tried to port forward and DMZ one of the consoles, which works to open up the one, but causes the other console to have the errors to occur.

On the console that is getting hit with the Moderate/Strict NAT the error status report displays the following:

W: 0000 - 0021

X: 0000 - F001

Y: 20A8 - 4860

Z: 8015 - 1918

ID 0007 - 0000

L: 0015 - 10F1

Q: 8007 - 0435

T: Wireless

A: 192.168.1.136/255.255.255.0

G: 192.168.1.10

D: 192.168.1.10, 0.0.0.0

N: Name of My Network

S: WPA2

C: 9

Connection Issues

Router suggestions for multiple console support.

I have a Linksys E4200 and having NAT issues on some consoles. I have 3 Xb1 and 1 PS4. I need a router that can support multiple consoles without having NAT issues. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about the issue! That router seems to not be able to support more than one Xbox console with open NAT. Refer to our

Linksys EA6500 post, which is a very similar router we have tested that has similar issues to what you're explaining, for more information.

I strongly recommend looking into a router that is confirmed to work with multiple consoles and doesn't have any known issues. Take a look at the routers list in our

Networking Hardware Information forum so you can get some ideas!

Hi

You won't be able to use both routers (Hiro and Linksys) without getting NAT issues, are you connecting your Xbox to the Hiro or Linksys?
