NAT issues after update?

This is extremely frustrating as I've been a loyal Xbox live gold member for six years. After the most recent update, my friend and I have been repeatedly testing connection to find that our connection is "moderate". We've followed the recommendations to
" resolve" the issue MULTIPLE times. We cannot connect to each others parties OR games. Anybody else having this issue?

Weird issue with mic

Sounds like NAT or network issues. Sometimes when two people have a certain network config you can play and chat with other people just fine, but not someone else with your same issue.

My wife and I used to have a similar issue with chat in OG Destiny. Check your NAT and make sure it is open not moderate or strict.

So youve tried to resolve the issue through recommendations.

Some of this may be what you have already tried, but I will list some steps regardless.

-Make sure the correct ports are opened for your Xbox.

-Power cycling your modem/router couldnt hurt (even possibly a reset if need be)

-Disconnect and reconnect internet from Xbox.

-Make sure all internet settings on your Xbox are indeed correct.

-Unplug your Xbox from the power for approx. 30 seconds, and reconnect.

Or Xbox may provide a patch to fix the issue.

If, by any chance, would be related in any way to an update, you could try:

support.xbox.com/.../reset-console-to-factory-defaults

Select specially the option RESET AND KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS, which of course, will not delete your games

Hi I am trying to solve the issue before reinstalling everything.

The problem I think is the type of network. check that the NAT network is normal, open.

because after an update may changed the security network.

NAT must be open and appears Strict or moderate NAT.

NAT appears Strict, this is my case, I'm in it to see if the issue is solved.

if you haven't already, clear your console's system cache, along with your console's IP configuration, and lastly, setup a wireless network on your console.

However, I would recommend that you connect your console with an Ethernet cable instead.

There was nothing in the update that would throttle your speeds.

You just have bad internet. Period.
