NAT Issue

Hello everyone!

I have been experiencing issues with my Xbox One for the past few days now. My NAT status has been fluctuating from strict to moderate to open and the reverse every time I check my Network Settings. Also, I have tried to enable the DMZ hosting and have also
tried port forwarding. I recently got a new modem and a new router, which I am wired to, and this has not seemed to change anything. Every time I restart my Xbox One there seems to be a new issue, some of which include: UPnP port restricted NAT, port-symmetric
NAT, Cone Nat, high packet loss, and many more. My next step is to call my ISP even though all of my other devices work spectacularly now due to my new router, so I don't think m ISP is the issue. This is very frustrating since I love playing Xbox One and
I really am trying to avoid buying an entirely new one just to play.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Weird issue with mic

Sounds like NAT or network issues. Sometimes when two people have a certain network config you can play and chat with other people just fine, but not someone else with your same issue.

My wife and I used to have a similar issue with chat in OG Destiny. Check your NAT and make sure it is open not moderate or strict.

 

Have you set up a static IP for your Xbox?

When you port forward, you associate the ports with a specified IP address on the network. Reconnecting to the router without an assigned static IP will get you a different IP nearly every time, which sounds like what is happening with your Xbox.
