(NAT Issue) I cannot get out of Moderate!

So during the time, from when your Xbox One discover an Open NAT and start drifting towards a moderate NAT, your Xbox 360 hasn't been connected to Xbox Live?

I would appreciate if you could try what I initially suggested before we move on to the next troubleshooting steps (and so on).

On your console:

Go to Xbox Network settings and Advanced settings. Select Alternate MAC address and select Clear.

Go to Settings and select All settings. Select Power and switch power mode to Energy-saving power mode.

Power cycle your console by press and hold to power button on your console for 10 seconds.

On your gateway:

Delete those port forwarding entries that are mapped with your console.

Disable UPnP.

Reboot your gateway.

Re-enable UPnP

Go to Security settings and DoS and make sure all of the presented options are unticked (disabled).

Report back and let us know how it goes and we'll move on to the next step.

<-- And switch it OFF, like I said. Sometimes that INSTANT mode is what may mess up with your NAT. Sometimes Xbox NAT system just gives false information. You may actually have OPEN NAT, but it will show moderate. But if you switch INSTANT mode off. I mean
switch to ENERGY SAVING mode, it may help. Follow these steps:

1. Switch from Instant-On power mode to Energy-saving power mode.
2. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
   
3. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 30 seconds.
4. Turn off your modem/router. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Plug the Xbox One console power cable back in.
6. Turn on modem/router.
7. Turn on the Xbox One console.

I did exactly what you told me to do. and here is the result:

- My NAT type is always OPEN. I checked it in every time when I turn on the Xbox.

However guys, I really missed the "Instant-On" mode features in the last 3 days. I don't wanna leave with "Energy-saving mode" for ever.

and a well grown beard. Wearing round glasses and nursing for mother earth. You would think such a person would prefer energy saving in favour of Instant-on. Am I right?

LOL .. Ok you are right about the beard

but am not a big fan of saving .. that's my wife specialist

I turned back to Instant-On (I could not life with out it anymore), however issues have returned.

Although it's work fine with saving mode but I need another option.

What do you think?

Is there a way to fix my router? or doing other configures that may help.

Or Is it the time to buy another one?

 

Disable UPnP.

If your router support DHCP reservation, use this method to secure your console's IP address from being renewed.

Enter your console's MAC address (the MAC address off whichever connection type you're currently using).

Pick an address that is not in use and reserve this as your console's IP address.

Place this address into the DMZ of your router.

Go to your console's network settings and make sure the IP is the same as the one you reserved.

If DHCP reservation is not supported, then make a static IP (currently not in use) for your console. Be sure to pick a unique IP in the higher range of the DHCP server's pool of leasable addresses. Or use an address that has been excluded from the DHCP's
pool of addresses.
