NAT is strict even though I have BOTH IPv4 and IPv6

My nat is shown as unavailable even though I have BOTH IPv4 and IPv6. How do I fix this?

Having both IP4 and IP6 has nothing to do with NAT being strict. NAT really isn't a thing with IP6. Do you know if you have IP6 from your ISP and your home router?

As others have mentioned - port forwarding is one way to get around NAT issues. Another is to used UPNP - however there are some security issues with UPNP that you should look into before you just enable it.

Are you playing on Xbox One or is that on PC?

What internet provider are you using? Is that a cellphone based provider (e.g. 3G/4G/LTE) or is that a landline internet provider (cable, DSL and the likes)?

What is your router make and model? Is that a combined modem/router gateway, or do you use a separate modem in addition to a router?

I had to open ports on my firewall. When you do this, make sure you point it to the xbox live dns names (IPs) so they are not open to the world.
