Nat error

Hey y'all, this is a new problem for me, started a couple weeks ago I couldn't connect to certain lobbies in forza4. Checked my connection and I'm moderate. I'm connected through a Sierra wireless 4gLTE router, and my laptop, that up until now, I've had
no problems with. I've gone through my port forwarding settings and opened ports, and have fallen short. I've spent numerous hours reading forums, and testing things to fall short. I've been to portforwarding.com and downloaded their open port check tool,
and for some reason it says my ports are not open.. any clues, tips, tricks y'all might have would be greatly appreciated.

Your network is behind port restricted NAT

Does your NAT actually say STRICT or MODERATE when you run network test or are you going by the advanced test where it'll say open but also give an error code for port restricted NAT. If its the later, you'll get that error code when you hook to a router because the router is handling your NAT and x1 sees it as a filter, even though its not really filtering your necessary ports for Xbox live. If its the former, yea, you need to see Xbox forums as xstasis recommends.

I clicked your link but it brought my to a "group not found" page. I've read numerous write ups, and even watched multiple YouTube videos. I've set my Xbox to automatic, and manually configured the up and have had the same results. Just to be clear, when
I open my ports, I use my Xbox ip, and not my router ip right?

(ICS, bridge connection) with your console?

It hasn't always been moderate, this is a recent thing, within the past 2 or so weeks.

I am sharing through my laptop instead of buying the xbox wireless adapter, sharing not bridging. Bridging will not connect for me.

Ive set up a static ip on my xbox, ive allowed port forwarding, ive opened ports 53, 80, 88, 2074, and 3074, if I remember the numbers correctly. Ive removed firewall settings.

I contacted my provider, they saidvthey offer a router thst supports upnp for $125, but opening port 3074 or whatever number it is, shouldnt that bypass the buying a new router option?

ive also tried a different laptop, and different lan cable, restarted my router . And I redownloaded my profile also. Did not fix.

Do you have the option to connect your console directly to your router (wired, or wireless)?

 

At the moment, I dont have that option. Its a sierra wireless "rogers" style router. I live in a rural area and this is the only fast Internet option I have.
