    i have had all ports open and the upnp and dmz disabled like support told me but am still getting the nat error... it is set to moderate and not open... the serial number is
    [Mod Removed] and the product number is [Mod Removed] can you pleas help me with this problem.... at&t and xbox live support say they have do all they can do. and i should post on this forum.

    Xbox NAT type open both games NAT type moderate

    Going bald from pulling my hair out all weekend. I have BT smart hub (as do my friends) but my friends have an open NAT type in the games whereas I am moderate in both. For black ops 3 I port-forwarded to have an open NAT type and it worked. This time it
    doesn't matter what I do the NAT type is moderate on both games. Does anybody know what is causing this issue and can it be solved? The NAT type for my xbox is open.

    Sorry to hear about the NAT error. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

    Please give the following steps a try:



    • First, try to reset your Xbox 360 console network settings. Make sure that you write down the current settings in case you have to restore them later.
    • Reset your network settings by pressing the Guide button on your controller and selecting Settings.
    • Select System Settings and then select Network Settings.
    • Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network when the network list is displayed.
    • Select Configure Network.
    • On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults.
    • Select Yes to Restore to Factory Defaults.
    • Turn of your console and wait 5 minutes.
    • Power on your console.
    • Press the Guide button on your controller, then select Settings.
    • Select System Settings and then select Network Settings.
    • Select your wired or wireless network and then select Test Xbox Live Connection.

    Give the suggested steps a try and after testing your Xbox Live connection, let us know if you are still receiving the same error.

  5. it still did not work... when i was on with live support they had me do that also... i tried it again and still getting the moderate nat type... not sure what to do...
