    Just received game in mail. Ordered Gold edition but it looks like received the base edition. It came with the Gold case, but the disk has picture of the base game. Does anyone know what the gold disk looks like before i send it back? Also, we have
    installed it and appears to be base edition.

    Hello Moose, the Nascar Heat 5 game has online gameplay, but like every paid game it needs an active Live Gold subscription on the account to play online.

    Only free games like Fortnite etc that are free don't require live Gold to play online.

    "Online multiplayer on console requires Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold (subscription sold separately)."

    did you order the game do the Xbox store? If you ordered it through the store on Xbox it will give you the digital version of the game only. You can't order a disc from the Xbox store.

    You could pre-order The disc version of the game at a game store or online retailer. When it comes to performance there would be no difference between a disc and a digital version.
