Narrator Function Stuck On

So i accidentally turned on the narrator function, and now it wont shut off. I've tried shutting it off through the settings menu and through holding the guide button down and hitting the menu button, but it still stays on. I've also tried closing out all
games and apps, signing out and in again, restarting my xbox, and completely unplugging my xbox, all to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated!

It appears that you enabled the Narrator function which was added during the last update. From the home screen go to settings and all the way down to the bottom of the list is the EASE OF ACCESS settings. Click it and then the narrator option for access
to turn it off.

Try doing a hard reset on the console as follows. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the
console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

Is this related to tge "narrator" function on the xbox one?

If you press and hold the xbox button (as if to shut down) and select the narrator option, are you able to toggle it do that it is off?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have an issue with narrator. We recommend checking the game settings. The games sometimes have subtitles and a narrator function as well. This seems to be the case as when you turn Xbox narrator on
you hear two of them.
