naming system

They changed it to accommodate for a suffix so people can use the same gamertag. I doubt they'll change it back anytime soon. You can still use a 360 to change a gamertag and use the old character limit. If you changed your old gamertag, then it would have been freed up by the system.

No its still the same which is pretty confusing. My gt shows voesa on my xbox, but my friends see wuals. A tag i made for jokes.

The site where I made the obvious change is still wuals and not the new Japanese letter I put. It is pretty annoying tbh as I wasted 10 dollars on it, if it doesnt go through can I request a refund *at most I'll give it 3 days*

I change my gamertag when they had for free too. Was unhappy and changed it back. Now it shows the gamertagd I didn't like along with my actually tag underneath. I've contacted Xbox support for this. One said it was an issue with the insider hub. The
second tech support asked for pictures of my profile where I shows both tags and a picture of my system info to check my update. He also asked for my email to contact me. He reported it to a higher up, and said this is a common thing happing. No email back
has been received.

The problem isn't changing my gt, it's about my current gamer tag has reverted back to it's old gt. Very annoying because I didn't like my old gt

Yeah unfortunately a lot of my friends are experiencing this

It's definitely unfair because a lot of us spent our money on a gt change that was removed and replaced by our old ones
