Discus and support Name was changed in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Alright so my gamer tag has been SgtDigBickus for a while now, and I just logged on and it has been changed to great joey or some crap anyone know...     Alright so my gamer tag has been SgtDigBickus for a while now, and I just logged on and it has been changed to great joey or some crap anyone know what's happening I have to pay to change my name I did it ask for this I shouldn't have to pay? Anyone had
    this game happen to them?

    You would need to go to
    http://enforcement.xbox.com     and submit a case review in order to get an answer from the enforcement team.

    You can try submitting a case review at http://enforcement.xbox.com but if the enforcement team upholds their decision, you will havw to pay of you want to changw the tag.

    It sounds like your original gamertag was reported that it was a violation of the code of conduct and when the enforcement team investigated it they determined that it violated the code of conduct. Which can be read here:

    You can check there website enforcement.xbox.com to be sure that is what happened and if so you can file for a case review which is an appeal process where they will reinvestigate the report and determine if it did violate the code of conduct and if it didnt
    they would allow you to change your gamertag back to the original one but if they determine that it did you would have to pay for a different gamertag if you want something different then the one the system assigned to you since you did agree to abide by the
    code of conduct when you signed up for the service.

    Based on what your GT was I wouldn't expect them to change their standing on this.

    They didn't charge you for the forced GT change. If you want something different then you'll have to pay. Just don't choose something that violates the info below.

    Forced Gamertag Changes
    When a forced Gamertag change is imposed, the system automatically assigns a new Gamertag to the affected account, much in the same way a system-generated Gamertag is provided when you first sign up for Xbox Live.

    If a player is unhappy with the assigned Gamertag and wishes to change it, he or she may purchase a new Gamertag through the standard Gamertag change process. However, the Gamertag that received the forced change will remain unobtainable.

    A forced Gamertag change may be issued if a Gamertag visually resembles, sound likes, represents, hints at, abbreviates, or otherwise insinuates any of the following:

    • Profane words or phrases
    • Topics or content of a sexual nature
    • Hate speech
    • Controversial religious topics
    • Notorious people or organizations
    • Sensitive current or historical events

    Forgot to mention sometimes if you make spaces it may look different But Then system treats it Then same without spaces just replace some characters
