I was told to come to the forums from the xbox live support person and told me that this will all be resolved. My old gamertag that seemed to violate the terms and conditions was '[Mod Removed]'. I had humorous reactions from countless people
complementing it. Then out of nowhere, it changed to '', which is pretty lame. I was just wondering if there is any chance at all if I can change my gamertag to something else without paying the ridiculous $9.99.

Your gamer tag has a sexual innuendo as it is a STD. So you violated the Terms of Service and that Code of Conduct. Your gamertag was reported the Enforcement team found that it violated the rules and as such you have a Forced Name Change. You have two
options; 1. keep your current name that it was changed to or 2. Pay to have your name changed. Note that multiple forced name changes can result in a ban on your account. The Enforcement Team does not read these forums and their are no appeals for a name
change.

 

Parental Account

The parental email address that is bound to my Xbox Live name was hacked, and the password to it was changed. This means that I am unable to access any of the services that require permission from this account. Also, I am completely unable to access Xbox
Live at the moment because it required me to accept the new Terms and Conditions, which I cannot do because I can't use the parental account. Is there any way to get rid the parental account? Or change the one that is bound to the account?

 

Unfortunately no you will have to pay to change it. Your name violated the CoC and ToU.
