    Hi, I have a suggestion or something along that line. I know you make a bit of money from people changing there name tag but I had a cool idea: Say you made an account and named it "BarrySc0tt123" but then a week later you want to change it to "BigNANA666" because you thought it was a good idea when you where half dead in bed but you then you realize you HATE it and now you have to spend some of that lovely green to just change it back.

    I say when you change you name you should be able to pick between the 2 of them and once you get a third you can go between all 3 when you like.

    You gotta remember just because you freed it up.doesn't mean noone else is using it

    When using friend request or check name you have to use exact context caps and spaces don't make a name different so if you use search under the xbox app you can see various variations of your name

    Without the name we can't tell you exact names

    But if the system says it's taken it's taken

    However keep in mind it could just be waiting for server refresh

    It'd be easier if you check your name on xbox app to tell for sure

    So I looked up the names gates and it’s not there it shows up with numbers after it but I can’t find that name is it banned?
    If it's not taken it is possible that it is banned and cannot be reused. This is especially confirmed because it is suggesting your gamertag with numbers to differentiate. Unfortunately, there is no way around this.
