Name reported, Xbox changed; I'm forced to pay $10

Hi there, my Gamertag is/was [Mod Removed]. today I got on to my Xbox after a long road trip only to see a message that says something along the lines of...Can't login to account, please try downloading again. So I download it only to
find out that my Gamertag had been reported and now is . I then went to change it to a semi-decent Gamertag but when I got to the interface it said "Price: $9.99" I thought to myself, "hmm...that doesn't sound correct" so I chatted with a Xbox
support agent. The agent (Michael angelo) was very nice but he gave me terrible news, he said I now have to either, keep the bad Gamertag or pay the $9.99 fee to change it to something else. I find that outrageous because I created the Gamertag under the impression
that it was allowed but apparently it's not, and now I'm being penalized for somebody being offended. This. Is. Outrageous.

Xbox name changed

I logged on today to find my xbox live gamertag was changed to a seemingly random name. I'm assuming my name was reported since it was
[Mod Removed]. Is there a way I can appeal this? I had my gamertag since 2008 or 2009, and it wasn't offensive then (no one knew about Ebola until this year). If anything if I am forced to change my name I shouldn't have to pay 10 dollars since I couldn't
anticipate it being offensive years down the road.

Gamertag forced change unwarrented

Not to mention now that I try to change it from the junk name I was forced changed to, I have to pay 10 dollars...

If you need an official answer as to why it was changed, you will need to post here -

forums.xbox.com/.../41.aspx But the name change policy is per the code of conduct which you agreed to.

But i cant help xbox glitched i only checked availability and it changed i never wanted to change it in the first place now im forced to pay $10 for a name change
