    I was wondering, I want to change my GT but the GT that I want is taken so I looked up the account that I want to change my gamer tag to and they haven't been on for a year now and I was wondering if there's any possible way to be able to get that gamertag?
    Seeing as they've been offline for ages?

    Unfortunately they randomly generated a name for you , you can try to change it or call support directly to see if they can change or reset to guest but you might lose your progress

    I try to play bingo as a guest and the app says TestierCosine37 is playing! That is NOT my name! I never signed up for that name! I don't want that name! How do I give that name back to MS?

    The only way you can get the tag is if the original owner changes it to something else, or they don't sign in for 5 years and it gets freed up. Keep in mind that the gamertag system is in use on other Microsoft services, so even if they're not using it on
    an Xbox, it may be in use somewhere else.

    Forgot to mention sometimes if you make spaces it may look different But Then system treats it Then same without spaces just replace some characters
