Name change for free glitch

So there's this glitch that allows you change your name for free, my friend even did it. Is it banable?

If it's a "glitch" and you knowingly exploit it on purpose it could definitely result in a ban.

I would not recommend you to use a glitch to get something free, you could get banned.

I would recommend not doing it, using an exploit that takes money away from microsoft definitely doesn’t sound like a good idea.

You can use rhe social link withiut. Reprisals as long as you keep with the terms of use

However if the name exists may not be in the exact same spelling as you put it or case you will receive a hashtag to keep it unique

So gamertag may not be fiound as its Gamer Tag or gamerTag or any of the infinite amount of combinations

And no when you search ut has to be the exact context

But when you change it has to be unique or you will receive a hashtag

I wouldn't recommend doing it. It's definitely against the tos.
