Name Ban

Listen I get Xbox wanting a kid friendly enviornment, I get them enforcing bans on people who go out of their way to angrily message you when you beat them in a game. I get the name bans that deserve to be banned, but I am so sick of how pathetic Xbox is
with being reported. I get your 10 year old kid wants to play M rated games and you can’t figure out how to say no like a normal parent would have in the past, but when you overly sensitive people start making it a nightmare to even play, that is when this
get irritating. I got name banned for the first time ever, I was [Mod Removed]. Yes it is debatable, but not outright vulgar and profane. If a kid asks, tell them something about how its bad like any parent would have years ago just as mine
did. You can’t censor the world people, history shows that. Anyways I got numerous messages and laughs at my account name from people who aren’t just mad that I beat them and appreciated the comedy of it. Which is the purpose of Xbox in the first place. Good
times and memories. But instead angry people used Microsofts ridiculous code of conduct to get back at me. If you dont like my name then leave the match or message me and I will happily leave or try to do something about it. But when it costs me money it gets
frustrating. Microsoft doesn’t care about the real supporters who have stuck by them since day 1 and it thinks being ridiculously strict is a good thing for everyone. You could have given me a warning that i needed to change it and let me change it for free
again SINCE I ALREADY PAID TO ONCE BEFORE. i understand i agreed to your outlandish terms when i made the name but guess what, the world doesn’t end if i get a warning. Im probably going to get banned from Xbox after this anyways. But I understand Microsoft
as a whole could care less about me and my opinion. Bye bye Xbox, hello PC.

I already have my account info setup , it asks for the money and can be paid by paypal but thanks for the reply

 

A name ban would only happen if someone reported it as offensive and it was found to be the case.

• Sexual, provocative, pornographic, or adult content
• Violent content
• Controversial religious content
• Anything involving notorious people or organizations
• Anything involving sensitive events, current or historical

What is considered content in Xbox Live?

Content is anything you create, share, use, or promote that another person could see or hear or otherwise experience, likeGamertags, profile information, in-game content,
and videos.

 

An age filter would definitely solve such problems, and speaking about parents, they could have total control over what their kids could get access to on their Xbox by making them a CHILD ACCOUNT. It's not that hard, but parents these days do not care
about their children and then blame other adults...
