Nakamichi Soundwafe Elite 7.2.4

I have Dolby Atmos set up correctly in the Xbox One X settings but when I try to do a search for my new Nakamichi Soundwafe Elite 7.2.4 something goes wrong. Nakamichi is not a listed manufacturer so I choose the option "Not listed". It makes me type in
the searchbar "Nakamichi". Xbox finds that vendor no problem. I go to the next screen and it wants me to enter the model. So I type "shock" and click next. Brings a drop-down menu to show the "SoundwafeElite7.2.4", I click on it and go to hit "Next".
Here's the problem. "Next" isn't doing anything. No matter how many times I click or wait it won't finish installation.

I clicked "back" to move back out to audio settings and it reads "Nakamichi - not setup" or something similar to that.

How can I get the Xbox to finish the installation on this audio device?

Again, sound (atmos, surround, etc.) works through Xbox One but the Xbox just isn't finishing the install even though it appears in their database.

Note: The Soundbar system has the latest Firmware installed FW33.

I have reached out to Nakamichi support with the same information.

To your point, I'm not convinced that it's a Nakamichi issue. Why does Microsoft's database identify it, but not finalize the setup.

Easy problem to fix Andrendenum. These new systems are very finicky requiring multiple "HDMI handshakes" (see Nak's site on how to perform. I would first reset the soundbar, then perform the HDMI handshake. That should do the trick.

Note: I have the XB1 X with Nakamichi 9.2 Ultra. None of my 4k was registering until I performed the reset/handshakes. Also, make sure your TV's input channel is set to allow "UHD" (had to do this with my vizio).

You should contact Nakamichi support because you would be downloading that from their site.
