Nahimic (Windows Store) crashes Forza 4

There is a problem with Forza 4 crashing to desktop without an error when the Nahimic application is installed. If the application is removed, Forza will launch without any problems.

This issue is directly related to Windows Store Nahimic and Windows Store Forza 4 for PC - Windows 10 build 1903. I have tested this on two seperate desktops with clean Windows 10 1903 builds.

I would suggest contacting Nahimic & FH4 Developers, see if they have any workarounds for this, they will be able to help you further with the issue.

Hi, I have encountered the crashing issues, especially when starting the game. After trying to contact the Nahimic Support Channel, I have been told that this problem will be resolved on the new Nahimic version 1.8.13 . You guys can try to follow one of my ways below to see if it can resolve your problem:

Make sure your PC or Lap meets the requirement system of the game.
Update the game to the latest version.
Run the game as an administrator
If you are a user of MSI, ASUS, Lenovo… and have an app called Nahimic on your machine, update it to the latest version 1.8.13 on MS store and the crashing issue will be gone.

I hope these ways above can help you guys fix the issue. Personally, I just updated Nahimic on my PC and no more crashes, the game runs as smoothly as ever

It doesn't run for me either. Windows 11 + Forza Horizon 4 or 5 = Crash and Burn

You can try to find the crash logs on the Windows software known as Event Viewer. There, find Forza Horizon 4 and check what's the crash log around the time the game stopped working.

Do you happen to have any National Instruments or Nahimic Services software installed? Apparently there is some conflict between NI / NS services and Forza. Try this;

1. Go to services configuration (Win+R ->msconfig ->Services)

2. Sort services by manufacturer

3. Untick all services by National Instruments or Nahimic Services

4. Press "OK"

5. Reboot
