    MyVIP Stars


    According to the wording in the FAQs about how MyVIP works, you get your first star once you spend $300 in the Xbox Store starting from when you join XBox Live Rewards. I joined in 2010 and have spent a lot of money over the last 6 years. I checked my order
    history on my account on Microsoft.com and I've spent $319.58 at the Xbox Store in the past year.

    My question is, shouldn't I have at least 1 VIP star and probably more by now?

    I miss the 8% credit I used to get with the old program.

    Hello, MyVIP rank was at 3 stars with 92% towards reaching 4 stars, now it says I'm 3 stars with 60% towards reaching rank 4, why is this happening, can I get some help please, I'm planning on purchasing more digital games to rank up MyVIP, I would like
    this fix before I purchase the games, thank you.

    Hi last month I got a message from Xbox Live Rewards that if I expended about $120 USD on games, movies or tv shows I will get 5 stars at MyVIP so I expend it and MyVIP today is cero stars.

    Can Any one help me please?

    The amount towards your start level is based on a yearly spend, not from when you first joined the program. Your current progress would only include purchases from September 1, 2015 until now. The normal VIP year runs from September 1 - August 31 before
    progress is reset. This year has been extended to end on December 31.

    Support will verify your progress, but keep in mind when you're adding your purchases, subscriptions, in-game consumables, and preorders do not count towards VIP.

    Hello Reverend Dork. We've reviewed your account and the total eligible purchases you made from September 2015 to now is $259.59, which puts you at 86% on your way to unlocking level 1. Once you spend $40.41 more pre tax, you'll unlock your first Star level.

    If you have at least 1 star in MyVip then those are only paid once per month. April MyVip has not been deposited yet and May MyVip will not be deposited until mid-June. If you do not have at least 1 star MyVip then your purchases will have increased your
    progress to Star 1.

    The 4% you are seeing is your current MyVIP star progress. Since you are going towards star 3, which requires $900 in spending, 44.98/900 = .04 or 4%. We can confirm that the MyVIP star offer does not appear to be properly updating your progress bar, and
    are having our platform team investigate the issue. Apologies for any confusion.

    As Smwutches says, pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, so your pre-order will not award progress for either MyVIP or the MyVIP star offer.

    MyVIP Star Ranks are not part of the Microsoft Rewards program. If you are an Xbox Live Rewards member with a MyVIP Star Rank and you transition to Microsoft Rewards, you will receive special benefits in Microsoft Rewards for a promotional period through
    December 31, 2018. Click here to learn more.

    Since we have not yet transitioned to Microsoft Rewards, there is no reflection of your MyVIP Star Rank in Microsoft Rewards.
