i see on the last night, You're 84% of the way to your next Star. on this morning i see You're 2% of the way to your next Star. Is this a bug? All my money to the next star level is lost? Can anyone help me pls. Thx

Problem with MyVIP Star Rank

MyVIP Star Rank was 95% with $56 until I got to a four star rank, but recently on May 18 I bought more games from the sales, which was way more than $56, that have been going on. I checked on my star rank today, and it is now 91% until I get to a four star
rank. I did not think buying games would cause my percentage to go down. Is something wrong with the star rank system? Thanks for your time!

VIP ranks reset each year. They were scheduled to reset on January 1.

Hello Sephirod,

MyVIP is re-calibrated every year. We use your total spending from the previous year (September 2015-December 2016) to determine your MyVIP star rank after the calibration. We then place your MyVIP progress back to the default setting.

MyVIP Star Ranks are not part of the Microsoft Rewards program. If you are an Xbox Live Rewards member with a MyVIP Star Rank and you transition to Microsoft Rewards, you will receive special benefits in Microsoft Rewards for a promotional period through
December 31, 2018. Click here to learn more.

Since we have not yet transitioned to Microsoft Rewards, there is no reflection of your MyVIP Star Rank in Microsoft Rewards.

Currently, physical purchases like consoles are not eligible for MyVIP and will not increase MyVIP star ranking.
