MyVIP Percentage Towards Next Star Is Radically Incorrect

Hi. So I spent about $200 a few weeks back during the BC sale., which would have me AT LEAST at 66% towards my next star, but I'm only at 41%, when I was at 20something% before my BC sale purchases.

Based on this, it seems obvious that my % calculation is noticeably off, is there any way you could look into this for me and make the appropriate adjustments?

Xbox Live Rewards VIPs

So I have done the math for this.

Under Xbox Live Rewards says

What is MyVIP?MyVIP is an exclusive feature of Xbox Live Rewards that gives members a certain percentage back in Rewards Credits for monthly purchases made in the Xbox Store. In order to start earning MyVIP, you have to unlock your first star by spending
at least $300 on eligible content. While eligible purchases you make track towards your year-to-date Star Rank, your MyVIP Star Rank is recalibrated each year based on your previous year's spend. As your MyVIP Star Rank grows, so will the percentage you get
back each month. Plus, if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, your percentage doubles, and you can earn up to 10% back each month in Rewards Credits.

In the last 6mths I have spent 303.68$ before tax but yet when you go to my rewards it says ALMOST THERE. Only $86 away from leveling up!

Not sure if i am missing something

I didn't get any Credits

We only see one purchase on your account on July 23 for 6.75 GBP. A five star rank requires 1200 GBP in eligible spending off the Xbox store. Since you did not spend this amount, you did not reach five stars. Your total spending of 6.75 GBP puts you at zero
stars. This means that you do not get payback. From our FAQ:

We see that your progress is accurate. It looks like your confusion is due to the fact that you are progressing towards your fourth star, not your first star. The spending requirement for your fourth star is 1200 USD. Since you spent 200 USD, 200/1200 is
roughly .16, or 16%. Your progress and the end of April was 25%. 25+16 = 41, so your current progress is accurate.

Hello jambru,

Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, so they will not award payback or progress toward your next MyVIP star. However, if they are included in an offer on the MyMissions page, they will still be eligible for any Credits from that offer.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

Since you do not have a MyVIP star, and your purchases did not go towards any offers, you did not receive any Rewards Credits for your purchases.
