MyVIP Gems & MyCredits

Hi

I bought some games from the xbox store in mid-February (over £150) and having looked at my xbox live rewards accounts today it looks like these have recognised by adding MyVIP Gems to my balance, but there's nothing been added to MyCredits balance.

Are these rewards mutually exclusive or is there another reason for these purchases not counting to MyVip rewards credits?

Account not updating?

Just a little concerned regarding my account not updating it's MyCredit or MyVIP star ranking despite making several purchases last month.

VIP rebates are calculated after the end of the month and given by the 15th of the next month. So it's still too early to see credits pending for February purchases.

From our FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit
terms. Be sure to keep an eye on MyStatement on the
MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!

We have not yet calculated the month's MyVIP, so it is too early to see the Credits pending.

Unfortunately, since the program has ended in your region, you can no longer spend Gems or use the MyVIP Vault. As stated in the transition FAQ:

What will happen to my Xbox Live Rewards MyVIP Gems, MyVIP Perks, and MyVIP Vault?You’ll have until May 31, 2018 to earn MyVIP Gems and unlock any new MyVIP Perks. You’ll then have until June 15, 2018 to claim any open MyVIP Perks and to redeem any unused
MyVIP Gems in your Xbox Live Rewards account for prizes from the MyVIP Vault. After this date any unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be converted to Microsoft Rewards points and can be used to redeem rewards from the Microsoft Rewards catalog once your membership
is transitioned. One MyVIP Gem will convert to one Microsoft Rewards point.
