    MyVIP GEMS conversion to Microsoft Rewards


    Currently, I have 2,207 MyVIP GEMS (that I was hoping to save until I get 10K to get a Xbox One X). Per the FAQ, if I do not use it, it will be converted to local dollars at a 1:1. That means I will get $22.07 USD. Is that correct? That seems unfair. Because
    with 2K gems, I can get two $25 gift card totalling $50. Will you be restocking the vault rewards? I want to get gift cards. Thanks.

    Hi,

    I read the FAQ on xbox live rewards site to know what will happen to MyVIP Gems at the end of this month when xbox live rewards become microsoft rewards ... here's what's in the FAQs .... "One MyVIP Gem will convert to one Microsoft Rewards point." that's
    not right .... I can use 240 MyVIP Gems to claim 5000 Microsoft Rewards points .... who did this conversion rate !!!!

    I want to claim 5,000 Rewards Credits using MyVIP Gems but it's showing the following message

    "OUT OF STOCK

    This item can only be claimed two times per month."

    although I didn't claim it at all this month ....

    MyVIP Gems to Microsoft Rewards Conversion Rate

    What is the conversion rate for MyVIP Gems when we move from Xbox Live Rewards to Microsoft Rewards? This isn't clear in the FAQ's. Also it appears that both visa gift card options for the 250 and 500 gems tiers
    are no longer available. Will this reward be restored?

    MyVIP GEMS conversion to Microsoft Rewards

    Hi there,

    At this time, there is very limited information (likely due to the XBL Rewards team being away for the bank holiday). The information they have given so far suggests that it will be a 1:1 conversion, and there is no guarantee that the Vault will be restocked.

    Keep an eye on rewards.xbox.com as well as twitter.com/xboxliverewards for further updates.

    A lot of people are losing a lot of value from their Gems and yet Microsoft is "Out of stock" on pretty much anything worth while in the Rewards store. Thats some shady BS.

    From the transition FAQ:

    What will happen to my Xbox Live Rewards MyVIP Gems, MyVIP Perks, and MyVIP Vault?

    You’ll have until May 31, 2018 to earn MyVIP Gems and unlock any new MyVIP Perks. You’ll then have until June 15, 2018 to claim any open MyVIP Perks and to redeem any unused MyVIP Gems in your Xbox Live Rewards account for prizes from the MyVIP Vault. After
    this date any unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be converted to Microsoft Rewards points and can be used to redeem rewards from the Microsoft Rewards catalog once your membership is transitioned. One MyVIP Gem will convert to one Microsoft Rewards point.

    Your 556 Gems will be converted to Microsoft Rewards Points when you are fully transitioned into Microsoft Rewards.

    Unfortunately, since the program has ended in your region, you can no longer spend Gems or use the MyVIP Vault. As stated in the transition FAQ:
