Mystery messages

    Mystery messages


    Every time I go to my home page, it shows I have 2 messages. I go in to check my messages and nothing.... all messages have been read? I have checked on my 360, which shows 0 messages and my profile here which shows 0 messages? Only on my X1 does it show
    I have 2 messages which I don't. Odd......

    Game pass prize issue

    Did you check your "Game Pass Goals" tile on your Game Pass Game Library/Hub on the console?

    This tile will display an offer to receive a "Mystery Gift" or an "Ultimate Mystery Gift" depending on the level of participation from you.

    If you have, please know that you will receive a Service Message approximately 4 weeks after the conclusion of the promotion containing a 25-digit code for your Mystery Gift. That Service Message will also include a "Redeem Code" button embedded in the
    message for a quick redemption experience on the console.

    Do you have any read but not accepted/declined friends requests on your list?

    Perhaps the One handles them differently and will always show them?

    on the x1 it will show messages unless you open it at the message I had the same thing until I went to them and opened each one

    It may have something to do with the dashboard preview, people who get the dashboard early can share videos through messages but if you're not on the new dashboard you can't see the message until it comes out.

    I only know because I sent some to my mates haha Mystery messages :p

    This is because someone who is running a " Preview Dashboard ", has sent you a message with a embedded video/activity, that your current dashboard does not have as of yet. Once they release the preview dashboard ( which has been a mess ), these invisible
    messages will show up in your message feed. It is just that your dashboard doesn't have the ability to utilize it yet, so its invisible.
