myservice.xbox.com Extended Service Plan Page not working for weeks! Please Fix.

i have been trying to get the extended service plan since December 10th the day I recived my white Xbox one from Amazon.ca but I go through the process with my address but the next page is blank and has been for weeks.... I would rather not call microsoft
as I do have health problems and its just easier for me to do it online. I did it fine with my launch day Xbox one, I have no ideas why it won't work now. I tried to purchase on many computers and browsers so it's on Microsoft's end. If the site doesn't get
fixed soon I guess I will have to call before my time runs out but this is getting annoying. You would think a Microsoft employee would ask " hey why aren't we getting any new extended service plan purchases? Maybe Somone should check it out" nope guess not.
Can we please get this fixed already? Iv seen many people post the same thing and this issue still hsnt been resolved.

Issues starting a service request or register a device, getting "An error occurred.."

When I go to

and try to register my device and start a service request, I get:

An error occurred. Please try again.

Can you guys please fix?

 

Is the Extended Warranty 2 or 3 years from purchase in the US?

I can 100% assure you that you are purchasing 2 years on top of the 1 year that comes standard giving you a total of 3 years. Before purchasing the Microsoft Complete (also know as "Extended Service Plan") on https://myservice.xbox.com my
warranty reflected Feb 15th, 2015 for my registered console. After purchasing the Extended Service Plan my warranty reflects Feb 15th, 2017. The explanation of the program on this
warranty page is correct ("Microsoft Complete is an extended service plan for your new Xbox One console and Kinect. Microsoft Complete provides you with three total years of coverage for your console and Kinect sensor."). I
believe all the confusion is that you are technically buying 2 additional years but say folks or sites are saying 2 years from the purchase date which is incorrect. Hope this helps!

From experience the site is riddled with bugs. There may well be a reason as to why its not showing but I doubt it. Ive had to use the site on a couple of occasions and each time Ive come across issues. Best advice I can give in your situation is to start
an online chat. Worked for me both times. Good luck

 

What browser you are using? I have noticed that if you use something else than IE, there is big chance of random bugs and glitches on just about anything you try to do on xbox.com or service site.

So, whenever i try to fill service order or something like that, i switch to IE.

 

I tried every browser available both on my desktop (WIndows) second desktop (Mac) and two mobile devices Note 3 (Android) and ipad Mini (iOS) to NO avail. The website SUCKS if you want the warranty call the microsoft store directly and they can do it over
the phone. The website itself is a joke.

 

The site was awful way back when the console launched - I'm surprised that it still sucks.

Back when I bought the service plan for my Day One console, I had to do it via the phone in the end as the site just would *not* work properly for me. That turned out to be a good thing, though, as I know people who did manage to buy via the site and it
actually cost them more as for some strange reason they got taxed twice.

Of course, because Microsoft's systems don't appear to talk to each other (unlike, say, Apple), the service website still does not know that I have an extended warranty, even though I bought one over the phone over a year ago.

 

Atleast at launch it worked when I registered my Day one edition Xbox one and got the ESP. I used safari, Firefox, Chrome, ie, multipul computers and tablets to no avail just a blank screen in the payment section after giving you address. I finally gave
in and called support and she said yeah she has heard about this for a long time from consumers and she said she wonders when they will fix it lol..

This is 2015 there is no excuse for the site not to work for months and they should be embarrassed how their support service site is being managed. I have a feeling Microsoft is doing this to deter people from actually getting the plan. Possibly they thought
they would make a profit and probably losing money....

I have had to replace my day one edition Xbox one, Kinect, Controller all in a period of a year due to poor manufacturing of the launch consoles.

For example remember how microsoft said the bumpers are fine at launch and it was the users fault improperly using the controller? Well then why did Microsoft alter the desgin? I have 8 XBOX ONE Controllers and the only ones with the crappy bumpers that
dont click when using them like Xbox 360 bumpers are the first run of the Xbox one controllers, now they all work as expected as long as they are new stock then it will work when using the bumpers like the 360 bumpers.

No one talks about the controller changes, I'm not sure if anyone even knows in the public outside of me but they really should recall every first run Xbox one controller because they are junk and prone to fail, for example the stick drift issue which is
the reason I replaced my controller. I now rotate controllers trying not to overuse one offer the other, aI might as well just buy a Scuff One Controller, far surperior.
