MyPlayer Settings Not Saving

I recently upgraded and equipped MyPlayer with all sorts of GameDay gear. I also gave him new sound effects when scoring 3s, dunks, and making blocks. However, none of those effects or gear show up on MyPlayer during the games. I have restarted the game
multiple times, and made sure he was equipped with the gear.





NOTE: When you go into the gear/apparel selection, it no longer shows pictures of the item you have selected. But it will show your player with it on.





Anyone having similar issues?

NBA 2K14 Crashes every time I finish a game.

For about a week now I have not been able to finish a game of myplayer without it booting me out of the game and not saving. Once the game finishes, player gives interview and i see my total VC earned for the match I press A to continue and it kicks
me back to the xbox home screen. I tried uninstalling and re-installing and after trying again this morning, the issue was not resolved. I also deleted all myplayer save games and started over and still after making a new character and going through the showcase
and yet again crashed without saving. Any ideas?

 

Creating MyPlayer Account

I am unable to setup MyPlayer Account. In the Options/Settings menu, my email address is not listed. How do I set this up to play online? Thanks!

 

I remedied the situation. I removed the disk from Xbox ONE and reinserted the disk. Thank you for all of your help.

 

This place is dead. Is anyone playing NBA2K14 for Xbox ONE?

 

I was...until my XB1 died (getting repaired atm)! But yeah, Xbox.com forums are ghost towns these days.

If I was more confident in the game I would help out...but I need help too. My settings never save either, I have it on digital download so I can't eject the disc :-/

 

My condolences to the death of your Xbox One. Glad to hear it's getting repaired. Seems that ejecting disc only cleared some of the problems. Sounds, Signature styles, and animations still are not saving in the MyCareer mode. Not sure if anyone is even
addressing these issues. It's been about two months since release, and nothing seems to be getting addressed.

 

I am in a continous loop in mycareer playing portland over and over again. When I click on mycareer, it takes me to the court already with no opportunity to go into the menu and play the park or whatever. I dont even see my guy driving to the arena, he's
already there!

I find that when I make changes to my perks or anything...and I want it saved that way for a long time, I exit career mode then enter again to save instead of going directly to the park, since lag out can happen and you might end up using perks that you
set before the latest change when you next get back on. I'd imagine it applies to all changes you make to your player.

 

This game = humpty dumpty after he fell off the ledge...very frustrating as someone who has enjoyed this franchise for several years. Next year looks like it will be back to madden, or perhaps skip sports games all together with the list of great games due
fall next year. I don't think I've had a single play session with this game where something didn't break. I've submitted a ticket to 2K as I can no longer progress in my player/career which a lot of other seem to be having the same issue after the server issues
this last weekend. Titanfall and Watchdogs are two months too far away.

 

My save that I spent a lot of time and money on is now corrupt. I refuse to erase it. Will it ever be restored?

 

There is supposedly a patch submitted to address these issues (again, might I add, because they were listed on patch notes from December also) which should be out in 1-2 weeks.

 

Oh whew then that's good to know. Only answer I've read so far.
