    MyAchievements Gems inquiry


    I know the gem rewards was just started recently but I'm curious why all the achievement rank rewards aren't retroactive. I received the 500 gems for already being above 100k gamerscore but haven't received the gems for the lower tiers. Do those of us
    who already had high gamerscore get gipped out of the other gem rewards?

    If everyone else can still earn a total of 50+100+150+200+500= 1000 gems but those of us with high GS already can only earn 500 that doesn't seem fair at all.

    Heya!!! I get 2 MyVIP Gems for 1000 Gamerscore increase, but didnt get 150 MyVIP Gems for Increase my MyAchievement Tier to Legend.

    I needed some clarification on the terms & conditions of my VIP GEMS.

    #1. How do you claim MyVIP Gems?

    For example the terms state:[Increase your Xbox Live Rewards MyAchievement Tier:For each new Xbox Live Rewards MyAchievement tier you achieve, you will you will have sixty (60) days to
    claim your MyVIP Gems within your Account.

    #2. IF or WHEN do MyVIP Gems expire?

    Since Gems were only created in October, they could not Reward activity done before they already existed. Due to user feedback, we awarded Overlords for their achievements. You can still earn Gems for every 1000 gamerscore, as outlined in the terms and conditions

    We are currently investigating if there is an issue with your birthday gems. However, since gems were only started in October, we cannot award activity done before gems had been created, like your previous MyAchievement tiers.

    The Gems feature only came out on October 1st. Since you reached these MyAchievement ranks before then, they were not eligible.

    From our Terms and Conditions:

    Increase your Xbox Gamerscore

    For each incremental increase of your Xbox Gamerscore by 1,000, you will receive two (2) MyVIP Gems.

    Increase your Xbox Live Rewards MyAchievement Tier

    For each new Xbox Live Rewards MyAchievement tier you achieve, you will you will have sixty (60) days to claim your MyVIP Gems within your Account. By doing so, you will receive the following amount of MyVIP Gems:

    Hello ElGueroBombero,

    Unfortunately, the gem awards are only for unlocking new MyAchievement ranks, so you would not get gems for previous ranks. However, we are still taking feedback on this new program feature.

    We'll take your sentiment and feedback and provide it to the appropriate team. However, this does not stop you from getting the gem awards from collecting 1000 gamerscore!
