My Xbox’s logo on the controller won’t turn on

For this purpose, I want to ask first what procedures you tried to fix this?

Just holding in the XBox logo on the controller worked for me to turn off the controller.

Easiest way for me is just holding the Xbox logo on the controller itself and choose the turn controller off option.

Same thing with my Xbox One S minus the noise. Have you tried syncing it with your controller and then turning it on by holding down the Xbox Logo button on it?

so say no controller is on the dock, and i hold the xbox button on the controller, select turn off console....will that power the console back on, or will the controller turn off? When i am having this problem, the console and the controller both turn off,
and then only the console logo lights back up, not the controller, if that helps clear up my issue, thanks 24hrs2live.
