My xbox1 does not read the Xbox 360 games

Hello, as the title says my Xbox 1 does not want to play Xbox 360 games yet supposed to be compatible
. what's the solution please?

You saying put the 360 game in Xbox1? I thought other topic said all 360 games in Xbox1 you get a can't read disc message?

 

Media Center

So -

I've got a media center PC.

4 tuners, 8TB hard drive array, and it's powered through the house by 5 Xbox 360.

My son wants an xbox1 .... will it support MediaCenter by christmas? I've read/googled that this is NOT possible today, and so he'll not get an Xbox1.

 

Are the games that you are trying to play in the list of backward compatible games? The list is here:

Not all Xbox 360 games are backwards compatible.

 

Also when you first put an Xbox 360 disc in an Xbox One that is on the backwards compatible list the console needs to be connected to the internet and online to allow it to download the backwards compatible version of the game to your console from Microsoft.

2, I was able to install these games on my console but once made

impossible to start playback. I am well connected to the internet, I think rather to a problem of reader because the games work at my friend's place

 

Thanks for that info OROSKO. What specific error message are you seeing when you first try to play these backward compatible games? Can you please include verbatim of what you see or a photo of the error message? Sometimes when you try to launch a backward
compatible game on your Xbox One console for the first time, your console may need a

power cycle . Were you able to try that? Also, is this occurring with disc copies or the games or digital copies?

 

yes I clear the cache, when I want to run the game it tells me to insert the cd or go to the market xbox, I uninstall the game of my console in case it would come from the but now I put the cd and nothing happens, I do not hear the cd turn in the consol.

 

If you try a different Xbox 360 game disc, does the disc play or do you still experience that issue? Also, is your Xbox One console experiencing any trouble playing Xbox One game discs?

What error messages are you seeing when you're unable to play a disc?

 

i have 3 xbox 360 games on disk and none of them work, and nothing happens when i put them on and if it is already installed and i go on it tells me to put the cd if i have it or go on the xboxLive market, for xbox 1 games when its not reading the cd reboot
the console is enough to make it work.

 

On your Xbox One console, let's have you try going to Settings>System>Storage>Clear local Xbox 360 storage. Start up a backward compatible game and then re-download your profile. Did that help?
