    My xbox wont work properly after power outage


    It was a normal day and then my power goes out and my Xbox turns off, I stop playing because I didn't feel like playing anymore and the next day my console restarted and I was trying to play but I had the worst lag in any game I ever had, I tried changing
    the wifi and everything but nothing would work, I even unplugged the console several times and waited for at least 5 hours but nothing happened, I want to get back to gaming so can someone respond to this fast. Thx

    Have you noticed any difference with any other device connected to your wifi since your power went out? Do you know why your power went out?

    It could be that your wifi router or console was damaged do to a power surge caused by the power outage

    Try connecting you console on different power plug.

    Try hard reset by holding power button for 10 seconds, releasing it after console shut down.

    Disconnect the power cable and wait for more 10 seconds, then turn the console ON by reconnecting the power cable.
