My xbox wont turn on fully

If you have a slim than its ok that happens to me i just keep pressing the turn on/off button like 4 times than it turns off.

This will happen with my Xbox often. It worried me the first coupled times until I realized it was "Idle" because it was downloading demos, videos or other misc. content. My setting are set to download all of my content before the system completely shuts
down. Also another reason it stays on is because you might have a Play & Charge Kit plugged in and the controller is charging before the system shuts down.

Usually if you have like a demo downloading it won't fully turn off you have to wait till it's done downloading it or it could be something to do with the Kinect i'm not too sure about that because i don't have one of those.

Mine does this every time I turn it off via the controller's guide button. i normally have to hit the console button again for it to turn off properly. I never have downloads running when I am turning it off, so I don't understand why it does this.
