My Xbox won't take in my disc

    My Xbox won't take in my disc


    when I try to insert a game into my Xbox one, the Xbox doesn't accept it and never takes the game in, can someone please help

    Xbox won't take disc

    My Xbox one won't take any disc. I've tried restarting my console and doing a hard reboot. But nothing is working. Also every time I press the eject button it says nothing is in there so please inform me on what I should do. Thanks!

    Sorry you're having trouble. When you get a chance, please run through all the steps over on this
    Disc Drive Troubleshooter. Unfortunately if those steps are still not helping your issue, you'll need to set up a repair for your Xbox One.

    They won't take it back. I don't care if it's fautly really, just as long as it won't damage my console or the disc won't fall apart.

    Bluray discs not detected

    Unfortunately didn't work although some of my Blurays sometimes play. My son is going to take the discs that won't play to try on his mates Xbox one.

    my xbox makes a noise when i insert a disc sometimes that sounds like a phone vibrate or something and then the disc won't read but if you take it out and put it in a few times eventually it works

    Getting the same thing. Wired the Xbox into the router with an ethernet cable. No help. Reformatted the storage (4GB model). No help. Clear the cache. No help. Burned the update onto a disc and booted the Xbox with the disc -- extracted about 50%
    then said the disc was unreadable and to wipe it with a cloth (?!). Something about the update just won't take on my Xbox. Looking for more ideas.

    Remove the disc from the console, do these 2 steps below, and try again, please.

    Step 1: Clear the storage cache on your console.

    Press the Menu key on your controller.

    Click Settings, devices & streaming, and then go Blu-Ray.

    Select Persistent Storage.

    Click Clear Persistent Storage 3 times

    Step 2: Power cycle your console.

    Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    Unplug the console's power cable, wait 10 seconds. Be sure to wait 10 seconds, this step resets the power supply.  Plug the console power cable back in.  

    Turn on your Xbox.

    If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>

    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    **Do not reset your console without having your login information such as email and password.
