MY XBOX WON'T STOP TURNING ON BY ITSELF!

This is really getting out of hand now. For the past week, my Xbox One has been turning on by itself. It's connected to a Kinect and I always turn off the console after I'm done by pressing that lit up X button and clicking on the turn off console selection.
It'll turn on and when I check the TV, the screen will be dimmed. It won't register any commands from my Xbox remote so I'll have to go over to the damn machine to shut it off.

Before, it turned on about 3 times a day. Yesterday, it turned on 4 times in the middle of the night while we were sleeping.

PLEASE HELP!!!

AND BEFORE you guys start typing out conspiracy theories about them watching us while we're sleeping, please note that I am extremely frustrated and would just like to get this solved.

Xbox one keeps turning on by itself

like today I woke up and my Xbox one turns on by itself I turn it off a few hours later it turns on again. I disconnect my plug from the wall after turning off my Xbox one I don't know why It keeps turning on by itself I want this to stop but I don't
know how to stop it

Soo...me saying that your console is haunted wouldn't be funny right now? Give me a minute to look this up.

It seems that what could be happening because your Kinect is picking up you saying Kinect...or anything that could be interrupted as Xbox. My suggestion? Unplug your Kinect during the night before going to bed to see if that helps at all. Just a thought
