My Xbox won’t sign into my any account I try to sign into on it

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Kindly check if there is a pending system update that needs to be installed.

Make sure your console is connected to the internet, and then press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select System > Settings.

Select System > Updates & downloads.

Under "Updates", you'll see: Console update available. Select this button to begin your update.

Solution 3: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

if the above steps don't sort out the issue, it is possible that it is a connection issue. You will need to determine the error messages you are getting from either the network connection and the multiplayer connection by doing the steps below.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select General.

Select Network.

Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.

On the right side of the Network



Please test both the network connection and the multiplayer connection.

I’m having the same issue as well. When I try and sign in (even if it lets me complete the process) the window will just close and I still won’t be signed in. Tried on my phone and was able to sign in (my Xbox even said sign in successful) yet still wasn’t signed in.

Please change your password before you try signing in to your Xbox.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com>;; Security> Change my password.

Kindly try to sign in after changing your password.

If incase it won't work, please turn on your two-step verification by going to https://account.microsoft.com>;; Security> two-step verification> Turn on.

When it is fully on, please test it out and sign in to the Xbox.

If it will still not work, kindly turn off your Xbox. Unplug all the cables connected to it. Leave it at rest for 2 minutes. Plug in all the cables back and then turn on your Xbox.

Let us turn off your two-step verification first before signing in.

Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com>;; Security> two-step verification> Turn Off.

Once done, kindly try to sign in to your account.

Exact same thing happening with me... I try to sign I want to save purchases to my microsoft account, it won’t do it. It “pretends to”. ON Switch aswell. Needs a fix asap!

It is actually pretty easy to fix!

On your old xbox go to settings then account and remove account you will be able to remove your account from the xbox it won’t delete any data. Now sign and it wont sign you in on the old xbox
