It won't let me add friends or send messages. I would really like to be fixed as fast as possible.

Oops that shouldn't happen

When the messages were down I restarted my Xbox and when I went back on it didn't show my friends I waited for a bit still happend but then I turned it off again and then I went to see my friends and they still were not there what do I do I when here and
it said I have a glitch in my system

So my NAT type is now open, but still my xbox wont complete a multiplayer network test, and when i go into more details it still doesn't show any "upload" speed.

Another problem is when i go to my friends list, it never loads my friends it always says there is a problem and it takes a couple tries to get the friends list to show up.

 

There is a service alert at the moment.There is a widespread issue with the social side of xbox live which is being worked on.

You just need to be patient while it's being fixed.

 

i have this problem too. my friends dont show up. Will i get them back when its fixed??

 

Seems to be working now,all your friends should be visible on your friends list.

There was an issue at Microsofts end so nothing you did to your console would of made a difference.

The issue seems to fixed now anyway so peoples friends lists should be back to normal.
