    My xbox won't read discs


    Hi!, so my xbox had been working fine for the last 6 months or so, but now it won't read game discs!, everytime i put one in it makes the normal noice but won't show anything, it won't open the game nor show an error message and when i open the game manually
    it says i dont have the rights for it!

    Anyone knows how to help?

    My xbox...

    Hey!

    I'm extremely confused. My xbox refuses to read ANY GAME Discs, yet I tried DVD discs and they work fine...

    So? why won't my xbox read my game discs, I recently bought COD: GHOSTS and it won't even read that and it's brand new!!

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    EDIT : i'm using the white original Xbox 360.

    Sorry to hear about the disc reading issues. We have a guide for
    troubleshooting disc drive issues    . I recommend following all the steps provided under the relevant scenario to see if something there helps. If not, unfortunately your disc drive may be failing which would require a console repair. If that's a process you'd
    like to initiate or explore, you can do so via the
    Online Service Center    .

    My Xbox took 4 or 5 try's to read a disc but now (as soon as I got Forza 6) won't read any disc.

    Sorry you're having trouble. When you get a chance, please run through all the steps over on this
    Disc Drive Troubleshooter. Unfortunately if those steps are still not helping your issue, you'll need to set up a repair for your Xbox One.

    My Xbox won't read my disc

    Check if other discs can be read from your console (like movie dvd or blue ray). I have to warn you though that even small scratches or smudges can make a disc unplayable
