My Xbox won't let me add new account

I was having trouble signing in to my account so I thought what if I un add and add my account back. Now when I go to add my account back when I click add new it pops up with a loading screen goes away for like 2 seconds then a bigger loading screen appears
the goes away for 5 seconds and then the smaller loading screen pops again before cutting out and bringing me back to the add new page.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue.

Try performing the hard reset exactly like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

This did not work, It still won't let me add a new account.

cycle on your console. This could potentially resolve the issue without having to do any extensive troubleshooting. Please let us know how it goes.

This is something that would be more fitting to ask Xbox Support.

It sounds like it might be Xbox server issue more than anything else. I have had similar problems in the past when moving from my house to college and it ended up being due to trying to sign in when the services were down.
