My xbox won´t find home network

So my Xbox can´t find our home wifi and wont see it even when I write in the SSID so I cant connect to xbox live.

I´ve ran all the tests and answered all your online questions and it all seems to say that there is something wrong with the hardware but I don´t have a microsoft store nearby and I can´t send it to you for a repair since it says that I have to talk to you
about the problem for further help. So that´s what I´m trying to do.

My Kinect can hear me, but I can`t use voice commands.

My Kinect are able to hear me, but it won`t respond to voice commands. I tried my Kinect with Skype, and I were able to speak with others, so the microphone isn`t faulty. But my problem is that it won`t respond to voice commands like "Xbox On", "Xbox go
home" ....

Any idea what`s wrong?

You don't have to... Putting an XB1 in DMZ exposes it externally and allows it to stream its OTA TV 'anywhere' using the Xbox app and/or SmartGlass (which I have tried and found works perfectly), and while I've not tried streaming a game outside my network, I see no reason the method I used wouldn't allow you to...

To do this:

• Set your XB1's MAC ID or STATIC IP to DMZ in your router
• Find and record your network's External IP for later use
• Leave your Xbox on when leaving your home, perhaps running TV or something which won't let it go into standby (the apps won't find a sleeping Xbox when you're outside your network)
• When outside your network; connected to a 'FAST' network; In the Xbox app, connect to your Xbox using your network's true External IP address. Enter the External IP in the Add a device box where it says "Xbox One not listed? Enter your console's IP address:".
• Press 'Connect'
• Once you've made that connection, you should be able to do anything you would do with it from inside your home network.

DON'T WAIT FOR IT, HAVE YOUR AWSOME SAUCE NOW



There are things you should know with this...

After connecting to the Xbox using the External IP, you won't be able to connect to it Internally anymore, until you first delete the instance found with the External IP from the Xbox app. With SmartGlass, there seemed to be no way (when last I tested this) to remove the instance like with the Xbox app.

I'd try the Game streaming side of this to verify it works this way, if life wasn't what it is for me since my wife's passing, but I'm really even set up to do it anymore in my current living situation.

It´s also important to say that our home wifi is wireless and that´s the way we want to have it since there is no possibility to connect it with a cable
