My xbox won't connect with my tv & randomly turns off

I finally took a moment to plug it back in. The box was cool to the touch on top and no heat from the back at that moment. I was happy to see the picture appear on the TV. Not sure if it needed to be disconnected to reset or something. Been playing off
and on for two days often hours at a time. I have notice the box is rather warm when on but I'm concerned that it stays warm even when turned off for a while.

Well, here it is two days later and same issue. TV reports No Signal Input even though the console is running. I'm going to leave it plugged in tonight and see if the problem corrects tomorrow morning. If not, I will disconnect the power plug and see what happens
later in the day.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Uh oh! This just happened to me about a half hour ago! Was on Fallout 4 attempting to manage a screenshot when the screen went blank then the TV says No Input Signal. I can turn the console off when I press the X button then move the left stick to where
the Turn Off Controller button would be. Pressing the X button turns the console back on but still getting a No Input Signal message.

Interesting. I decided to see if cable connections were an issue by moving the cable from the XBOX to other HDMI slots. No avail. I then reconnected my older XBOX One to an open connector of the TV and it works so it's not the TV or cables.

However, as I worked behind the new XBOX ONE X, I noticed a lot of heat rising. It was turned off and I unplugged it but I traced the heat to the back ventilator. This wasn't just warm. Should I notice a lot of heat? Could this affect the display signal? Right
now the machine is unplugged so it can cool. I'll plug in tomorrow and see if my TV recognizes the signal as it did when I turned on my older console.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty discouraging of a problem to be dealing with. Well we got a couple of support pages with steps that might help. One is Troubleshoot
Xbox One unexpectedly turning off and the other is this one for
blank screens.

When you get the chance, give the steps there a shot but if they don't work, you might want to look into getting the console replaced or serviced.

I have tried turning everything off and disconnected everything, turned on the tv and connected the xbox to the amp and connected the amp to the tv making sure I plugged in to a arc input and turned that on I made sure the hdmi control on my amp was turned on my xbox will turn my amp on but my amp won't control my tv my old one s console had option to separately control both tv and amp but my series x console only has one option for cec control
